Things we say!

So Owen and Paige have an ever expanding vocabulary. Books on development say they should have about 7 to 10 words about now and boy do they! Words they both say, mama (my favorite:), dada (Paige's favorite), nana, elmo, Abby, car, more, please, cookie, shoes, papa, sissy, bubba, night night, bye bye, and no (Owens favorite). Owen also says apple.. Paige says "not nice" while she wags her little finger at anybody she disapproves of their behavior. Seems like everyday they are saying more and more which is exciting, but I gotta say, I'm gonna miss the nonsensical baby babble that is unbelievably sweet and adorable.

Grocery shopping...

Owen thinks shopping at Walmart is exhausting work.. Owie, mama totally agrees! Sunday shopping lute included a week of groceries, two giant balls, two plastic dinosaurs, and a dump truck. Tackling the chore of grocery as a family is much more fun than going it alone.

Weekend fun!

Headed to the outlet mall this morning to get the babies some crocs and play in the fountains. Got Owen a blue pair and Paige a pink pair. They both look so stinken cute in them. Owen is still one size bigger than Paige. They weren't too sure about the fountains at first but after mommy and daddy ran through with them they became a little more adventurous. After the fountains it was a quick lunch of ham and cheese and a change into dry clothes for the ride home. Before dinner I ran to wash the van. I took o and p out of their seats to suck up the pound of Dirt that piles up from daycare. Owen threw a bit of a fit getting back in. I had to wrestle, beg and plead with the little toot to let me buckle him in.

It's all about...

So Owen and Paige have continued to grow and develop so quickly but some of their interest and obsessions have stayed the same. For Paige it's all about accessorizing.. She loves shoes and hats. Days home I swear we may change shoes 3 or 4 times. For Owen he has been all about cars. Driving in the car, watching tv, books, it's car! Car! Car!

Little fish!

Sunday was our first swim lesson. We got a private lesson at the nmsu pool to see if that would be a better route than the city or gym magic. Paige seemed a little more comfortable but that just could have been because she was with her daddy. Owen was not digging the cool water so he was a little fussy. Not sure I will schedule another lesson anytime soon but I want to get them on the water more often for sure. We need to check out the new aquatic center, I've heard good things.

Spring fever

Day two home with this little monkey. Kept the other monkey home too just because I can! Hoping Paige starts feeling better soon. Love having the extra time but don't like her feeling bad.

Home today..

Paige woke up this morning with a fever so it's a day at home with both babies.. I'll take em however I get em!
