The old man is snoring!

Talk about a perfect Saturday. Daddy fixed us a nice big breakfast, we cleaned the garage, and the evening was spent on the front porch watching and playing in the rain. To top it all off, daddy went to Caliches after the little chickens went to sleep.. Mmmmm peanut butter cup custard!

Last trip of summer 2012!

Sunday we headed to Midland to hang out with one of mama's friends from back in middle school. We can't believe that we both have twins and get to share in such an adventure. They just moved into a new house with a pool so there was no reason to get out once we arrived. We had a great time swimming, jumping on the trampoline, swinging on the tire swing, and running through the mud run that was made for Zachary's birthday. Being there were 4 children under the age of 2 there was a whole lot of crying and fussing but we laughed to see such personality come out in each of you.

Poo-poo!

Paige, sorry in advance for this post but mama loves you dearly and wants to remember every bit of you growing up! After coming home from Midland TX. Momma patiently wanted for dada to come home so she could slip away for a nap. Little did she know she would miss out on such a extraordinary event. According to dada it went something like this. Paige walks up to dada grabbing the back of her diaper: "poo-poo"! Dada takes her to her little potty and takes off her diaper. There was already a little surprise but she sat on the potty and finished her business saying "ucky" over and over! Dada said that brother stood close by for support saying "poo-poo".. It's a start to what is sure to be a smelly, messy and exciting adventure in potty training.

Sleepy baby...

This little chicken did not want to wake up from his nap today. Maybe it was the three mile walk with friends, Tere, William and carol this morning that did him in. Whatever it was, it took everything in me to not gobble him up, he just looked so yummy and sweet!

Mommy's little helper!

Paige so sweetly "helped" me fold laundry today. In the process she wrapped herself in my underwear and put daddy's socks on her hands.. Silly girl!

Road trip!

Thursday we got up bright and early and packed up the van.  Owen, Paige, Momma, Dadda, Nana, and cousins Ross and Jalie hit the road to go see Uncle Jon and cousins, Cameron and Derek in Windsor Colorado.  You guys did great again handling being in your carseats for several very long hours.  Best day of the trip was friday.  We headed to the city pool and swam and played for hours, then we headed to down town Ft. Collins for food and a visit to two brew pubs.  You guys pretty much slept in your stroller which allowed us to eat, drink and be merry.  After that, we headed home to relax.  That evening we headed over to some very nice folks house to enjoy a nice dinner.  Everyone had a good time riding skateboads, scooters, and adult sized powerwheels!

Visit from Granny and Pa..

We had a good time with our visit from granny and pa. We swam at the hotel and momma got some of her favorite home cooked food, meatloaf,mmmm!

Shadows!

This morning you discovered your shadows. You screeched at patted them for several minutes.. Everyday is a new adventure.

Date night!

With aunt Julie being in town we took the opportunity to get away. We had dinner with daddy's friend, Ken and his family. After dinner we went for a drink and enjoyed some live music.

Hand-me-downs!

This cute little outfit was once worn by aunt Julie, then mama, then cousin Jalie, and now you Miss Paige! I've gotta you say, look adorable in it...

July 4th 2012...

We celebrated the 4th with our annual BBQ with friends and family. Paige and Owen got to stay up and watch fireworks. Although, Owen didn't last long ad was soon asleep on nana's lap.

Week with cousins!

Aunt Julie came to town for a conference so that means lots of playtime with our cousins.

Dada!

One of the best part of our day is when our dada gets home! We were outside enjoying the nice overcast weather today when he got home.
